This is mainly a double act between Henenlotter and McCrae, with Fangoria editor Martin given a moment now and then when the others ask him "Why don't you tell us about such-and-such, Bob". Henenlotter is of the "gabbling nerd" persuasion on this commentary and is never short of anything to say, with McCrae constantly making comments and quips on the side. Rest assured, if there was something you wanted to know about this film it would surely be covered in this one and a half hours. It's particularly interesting to hear how Henenlotter achieved what he did with the budget he was given, and the ratings battles that happened afterwards ("It's just ravioli in his mouth! Not actual brains!"). Even if you're not a fan of splatter-schlock films, it's still a fun listen for anyone interested in how indie films are made.
