Decent, but dull. Nothing memorable. Should have listend to the Junger one... it wins on concept alone.

Sebastian Junger, writer of source novel "

This is a great companion to the film. It offers insight into the real people and events depicted here. It also tells the viewer what incidents are fact and which are speculation.

One of my favorite commentaries. Sebastian Junger knows the subject matter very well and offers some great insights into the true aspects of this story.

Agree wholeheartedly with the above remarks. More authors should contribute to the films that are ultimately adapted from their work. It is an essential lesson on the hazards of Deep Sea fishing, and just catnip for historical buffs everywhere. Junger obviously has a passion for the people of Gloucester and the majesty, the terror, of the Atlantic.

A better that average visual effects commentary. It explains how the special effects are done and points out several surprising visual effects in the film.
