This Criterion commentary was a bit random to say the least. Commentary is with Wes Anderson, Jake Ryan who plays Suzie's younger brother Lionel, and Criterion President Peter Becker, with comments via phone from Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, and Roman Coppola. Wes seems more interested in talking about the far superior "Grand Budapest Hotel", while Jake seems more interested in playing the piano and doing Billy Crystal impressions. I was super excited initially to hear that Bill Murray was contributing to the commentary, although his contributions are minimal to say the least. Roman Coppola and Wes mostly talk about what they're having for lunch and if he can stay available throughout the commentary. One of the few highlights of this commentary track is Edward Norton's phone number almost being revealed while they call him. Schwartzman only appears briefly towards the end (around the time he comes on screen). Overall, one of the more disappointing commentaries from one of the best filmmakers working today.
