It's great to hear Cronenberg ruminate on this movie for a number of reasons - firstly, as it's not a "heavy" film (as much of his catalogue is) he's quite at ease just chatting about it and not analysing it. Secondly, as it was (for a while) his most difficult feature to get ahold of, it's also fun to hear him revisiting the film which he plainly hasn't seen in such good shape for decades - and the part where he suddenly realises that a scene that he thought was lost forever is in fact back in the film is my single favourite moment from any Cronenberg commentary.

Agree with Badge's comments. Cronenberg often is quite intellectual about his films so it's nice to hear him adjust his demeanor for this film and while it is a much more conventional commentary than many of his others, it is still interesting and a lot of fun and his passion for motor racing comes through. There were quite a few pauses though, especially in the second half. 6/10
