A bit of a surprise seeing Harryhausen turn up for this, since to my knowledge he only ever did commentaries for his own films - however, now that he has passed on, it's a worthwhile addition just for history's sake (and for his fans, of course). What's even more surprising is his enthusiasm for colorization, a process that's regarded as outright vandalism by film-lovers. His love of KONG is well known, but here he affirms how much he loved (and was influenced by) SHE, another Cooper production, which he says that Cooper originally wanted to film in colour, but didn't have the budget. Vaz has a good amount of background material which he throws in when he's not asking Harryhausen about his supervision of the re-colouring and despite their obvious age difference (Harryhausen must have been about 90!) they come off chatting like long-time buddies, which proves that when it comes to film fandom, there is no age division.
