"Hank is green, Teri is red"...
Coppola does get into the trap of repeating himself in this commentary, always circling back to the "live cinema" concept that was the genesis of this film. That aside, it's a commentary that covers all the bases, from the technical to the theoretical to the historical, with some engaging anecdotes thrown in. Coppola's pleasant, unrushed speaking manner is always an asset on his commentary tracks, and it's obvious that this film is close to his heart (as, surely, are all his films!!), so sit back and enjoy Uncle Francis lead you through this infamously over-budgeted (but now restored) pet project.
