This is not a commentary I would recommend to anyone, it's far too focused on the technological aspects of the film. While I understand that they are proud of what they have created and they undoubtedly faced many technical challenges during the production, for an outsider (for me atleast)it's not very entertaining being told how difficult it was animating fire or how long rendering-time certain scenes required.
It's too bad because the three participants work well of each other and there are funny moments lost in the plethora of lectures about texturing and lightning.
At the end of the commentary, when the credits begin to roll, someone says that the only people listening to the track was probably people who worked on the film, and those are probably the ones who would get the most enjoyment out of this.
Favourite bit: a couple of cool hidden treats are actually revealed by the commentators, like the "knight cook book" found in the dragons kitchen.
