Two excellent commentary tracks full of historical detail for any Godzilla fan. The track on the American release may be the most interesting, as it covers how the American version was put written, directed and edited around the original film's footage.

Monster movie experts Ryfle and Godziszewski have a ton of information to share and their opinions are insightful. There are a few long moments where nothing is being said, and neither expert is a gifted lecturer, but these are minor flaws. The commentaries on both the Japanese and American cuts of the film are worth listening to, even for a casual fan.

As noted by the other reviewers, there are two commentaries, one for each cut of the film, Japanese and American. Surprisingly, each of them is a great listen with very little overlap between them.
