John Frankenheimer sounds like he is teaching a film class. This classic film has a notorious legacy, and Frankenheimer spells out the significance of it ever getting made in the first place. Definitely worth hearing about the making of this breakthrough film.

This track is a mixed bag. Frankenheimer has some good facts about the script, the working with Sinatra, the lenses, the locations and the editing. There is no discussion about the parallels to the murder of Kennedy. That Sinatra took the movie of the market for decades is not even mentioned.

There are a lot of gaps during the track. A sidekick to Frankenheimer is missing. I expected much more. 5 out of 10.
