Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi are excellent. They are both witty and at the same time do a good job of explaining what went into the making of this film. One of the best.

A riot from start to finish -- its genuine to hear because everyone is so self-depreciating! The group works well together, and has a good time razzing each other. Lots of insight into the low-budget-making process. You can usually count on a Bruce Campbell commentary for pure entertainment!

In the world of movie commentaries, this is a classic. If you go around in message boards and ask, what’s everybody’s favorite commentary, three inevitably pop up: the actor commentary from ‘Fight Club’, the group track from ‘Mallrats’ and this one. This one has information about locations (mostly North Carolina) and filming and actors and has so many funny moments. They just love laughing at Jack’s pain. Mr. Raimi also just about mentions that they didn’t use Mr. Campbell’s stunt double because it was too much fun torturing Bruce Campbell. Mr. Campbell imitating Mr. Raimi: ‘That’s the worst reverse-motion acting I’ve ever seen.’ So, they didn’t use that scene. The commentary is full of everything you’d want. You really have to listen to this for yourself. I don’t want to give away too much, so I’ll finish here.

Absolutely great. I love the humor these guys have. It really fits the tone of the movie, and the type of movie it is. Bruce Campbell is the main talker, and he alone can make a commentary shine bright. But he gets even better with the feedback and support from the other guys. I could not recommend this enough. 9/10

I honestly think this might be my favourite commentary of all time.
I cannot recommend this highly enough. If only all commentary tracks where as wacky, fan and informative as this.
