The premise of the film itself makes for an interesting commentary, with the director and his fellow commentators discussing how they took Shakespeare's original story and modernized it. I enjoyed very much hearing them reach the logical conclusions of what the contemporary equivalent of Shakespeare's classic settings and situations were.

There's really nothing to complain about here, we get to hear Luhrmann reveal how he pitched the idea to the executives, some intriguing revelations of how certain scenes were accomplished (the kiss in the elevator...) and Luhrmann's thoughts on his provocative changes to the R & J's death scene. All interesting stuff.
