Another superb and substantial commentary by Bey Logan. He delves into a number of topics; cast and crew, thematic material, the film's social setting and political climate, alternate versions, and critiques the film as well. All done in an entertaining fashion with absolutely no gaps or film. Utterly indispensable for fans, or indeed just casual viewers, of the film.

This is the first Bey Logan track that ive listened to (although i followed on with The Killer straight after)
its a shame that Bey has since left Hong Kong Legends because he is indeed the encyclopedia of Eastern Cinema.
If i were to write down the info this man covered in his 2hrs commentary i would need to write down the entire transcript.
He covers everything and really does know his Far Eastern Cinema
I confess that 80 percent of the film titles and the actors he talked about i had never heard of but it didnt make the track any less a treat.
I cant recommend this one enough. Second only to The Killer (also commented by Bey Logan)
