This is a surprisingly good track, considering that Pokemon is branded as a kids' show. The two participants obviously get along and are well-versed enough in the television series that they're able to share equal time on the commentary without stepping over each other's contributions. They not only draw parallels with the TV show and the movie but also the original Nintendo game, and how all three connect. There's a lot of interesting stuff about the difference between the Japanese movie and the English adaptation, which used different music, sound effects, dialogue, character personalities and even animation. I'd never considered the difficulty of the dubbing process before in light of Japanese words often ending in vowels. I guess this track is primarily for followers of the show, but there's enough general stuff about the process of adaptation which should interest animation fans in general.
