Altman fans will enjoy this commentary as the participants point out that all the extras in the opening sequence were ex-drug addicts. Altman and Walsh talk in detail about the filmmaking process with the latter pointing out the authenticity of the gambling lifestyle as depicted in the movie. Everyone recounts amusing anecdotes on this relaxed, informative track.

A mostly entertaining commentary, with Walsh and the actors doing most of the talking. Those guys have a lot of amusing anecdotes and interesting tidbits to share, although they also spend a lot of time talking about how movies today could never get away with what happens in this film, which I think is an overstatement. Unfortunately, Altman himself contributes very little to this track, with most of his comments amounting to "I can't remember." There are also several strings of dead space, as the participants apparently get so caught up in what's happening onscreen that they forget to speak.
