Melissa George makes her commentary debut here in a decent chat-track. The three talkers have a nice rapport, they keep up a brisk pace
and don't interrupt each other. They share some fun moments and expand about things like the difficulty about acting with several cameras swooping around and they talk about the nervousness about having a new regular entering the show (from both perspectives).

It's a pretty good episode to make a commentary out of considering how confusing it is, but I wish they would've expanded a little about David Cronenbergs participaiton, they mostly compelement him about how good he was at learning his lines.

Some fun moments are had with them mocking Jennifer Garner's mom.
Commentary 3: "Full Disclosure" -- Director Lawrence Trilling, writer Jesse Alexander, and production designer Scott Chambliss Rating:6.0/10 (1 vote) [graph]Login to vote or review

These guys are all business! The three contributers here does not provide much in the way of humour but that does not make it a bad commentary. This specific episode presented a unique set of challenges for the production team in that they had to explain Sydney's missing 2 years, considering that they had originally planned to reveal this piecewise during the season they had their work cut out for them.
They joke about how the episode could've been a disaster but it's clear that they are proud of the final result.

Otherwise there are quite a few compliments made in the vein of: "he's so good" and "she's so pretty" which is a common commentary annoyance. They do, however, seem to genuinely admire Kevin Weisman's performance since he often is acting cut off from the other actors but he can still convey the drama in the scene.

They touch on some interesting aspects of the making of the series but it's a bit more pragmatic then the usual Alias-commentary.
Commentary 4: "Façade" -- Creator J.J. Abrams, director Jack Bender, and actor Greg Grunberg Rating:5.0/10 (1 vote) [graph]Login to vote or review

A lesser commentary from J.J and the gang. They devote a significant period of time talking (and raving) about Ricky Gervais. Sure it's interesting knowing how he got involved but they keep coming back to him throughout the commentary and it gets annoying pretty quick, there should be more interesting topics at hand.

The commentary is also filled with more than usual "narrating what's on screen" moments with them just describing what we are seeing, and compliments to the cast and crew.

Like I said, a lesser commentary and not what I expected from a season-capper, especially with J.J involved.
