If you want to listen to two hours of a director stroking his ego, this is it. A complete waste of time if you're interested in the film: instead Cacoyannis delivers a repetitively gushing biography of himself, reaching the ultimate hypocrisy after an hour of listing all his awards when he says, after learning that he didn't win the Oscar, that he didn't care because awards aren't important (immediately afterwards, he says he had "insider information" about how close he came to winning it). Among his delusional remarks is that he was "the first director to use a hand held camera" and how great his follow-up film to ZORBA was, even though it was universally derided.
