This is pretty awful, sadly. The movie is fun, but director Rob Cohen drops his best story in the first few minutes and then spends the rest of the movie reminding us that it's not a real dragon we're seeing... He also pats himself on the back for his magnanimity in casting Dina Meyer even though he considers her to be carrying some extra weight. As her once curvy body now looks like skin stretched over coathangers, perhaps she heard this!

The previous review on this commentary is ridiculous. I thought that Rob Cohen gave a very interesting commentary during which he never stopped speaking. Compare that to the Road House commentary where that director spoke for perhaps 20% of the time. Cohen tells you what he was thinking when composing certain scenes and describes details that you wouldn't have seen otherwise. This is exactly what I want in a commentary. Also, with relation to Dina, the previous reviewer made it sound as if he called her fat. Not true. He simply remarked that he cast her because she didn't look like Kate Moss, rather that she was very athletic and looked believeable as a woman from the 10th century.
