Peace and Dillon are also joined by the Director John DeBello here and the tone is very humorous. If you have listened to the Zucker Bros commentaries with Jim Abrahams, expect more of the same amount of "riffage" mixed in with production information. Lots of comments are devoted to the loud fashion of the late '70s. To wit: "It's like we made a 'technicolor' movie, without paying for it." Interesting to learn the fate of many of the San Diego locations, which is now very valuable real estate. The trio extol the virtue of "off-screen" violence and gore, especially when working with little to no budget. Best joke regards the credit of "special appearance by." "What's that mean, you either appear or you don't." Jokes like these make it a fun listen, although you kind of wish for more information on the origins on what turned into an inexplicable franchise. 7/10
