John Landis doesn't give commentaries to his feature films because he basically doesn't want to "talk over the movie" - his only three contributions that I'm aware of are the 'Kentucky Fried Movie' collection of skits, his ultra-low-budget debut 'Schlock' (which again, is basically a story made of skits), and this one, 'Slasher', which he doesn't mind commenting on because it's a documentary. Landis has such an infectiously spirited approach to anything to do with film that it's enjoyable to listen to him no matter what the subject is. Although the premise of this car-salesman doco seems a bit slim for a documentary (the whole thing is filmed over a period of three days), Landis finds behind-the-scenes info to spill about every scene, and provides most of the contributions on this track. Although there are three other commentators, they're pretty much indistinguishable from each other, so for all intents and purposes it sounds like you're listening to Landis and 'some other guy'.
