Executive Producer/writer/co-creator Michael Piller, Executive Producer/director Rob Lieberman, co-producer/actor Anthony Michael Hall, actor Nicole deBoer all do a pretty good job over this first episode of the series. Sadly it didnt delve into as much detail about the genesis of the project as id liked. I wanted to hear where and when they decided to make the series and the steps that were taken.
(perhaps that is discussed in other commentaries)
This commentary does enhance the viewing though with snippit of info on the original pilot and the reshoot. The majority of this commentary is "we shot this ...here, we shot that there" type of chatter. All the participants were recorded together which is nice.
I do plan to listen to more of the Dead Zone tracks. Aa this first one was a good start and is recommended.
