This not a great commentary on purpose, but what is interesting about it is how Hyams continuously points out why he is such a lazy, sloppy director, with no interest in anything but noise, murky visuals, and saving money (yet his movies are always overpriced). He keeps thinking he is revealing important choices made by directors who are also their own DPs, but he keeps revealing how much he contributes to Hollywood mediocrity.
